The Charlton medal catalogue lists this piece as being gilt bronze. This example is silvered bronze. This was a week long event that took place in Montreal the week of May 18th 1914. Road contractors, engineers, road material and machinery dealers, as well as streets and highway officials met to discuss the latest in new road construction.
