Reverse: lion on hind legs holding a shield bearing the coat of arms of Ypres.
Laurent Joseph Hart (1810-1860) Medallist. Born in Antwerp. Studied under Braemt, Veyrat and Jouvenel. Worked as an engraver at the mints of Brussels and Utrecht. Died in Brussels.
