CANADA 1949 Silver Dollar Countermarked "CHARLES D. MOORE / CNA / PRESIDENT / 2003 / 2007" 23.35 grams
The late Charles D. Moore was a dealer, auctioneer and a president of the Royal Canadian Numismatic Society from 2003 - 2007. Forty of these dollars were countermarked for distribution at the inaugural meeting of the Newfoundland Numismatic Enthusiasts at the Royal Canadian Numismatic Convention in Niagara Falls in 2006. They were not distributed as there were more attendees at the meeting than there were dollars countermarked.
