GREAT BRITAIN Horatio Nelson Medal 19.7mm, 2.71 grams Loop attached for suspension.
Unmarked silver collared roundel that has been engraved, "HORATIO NELSON BORN AT BURNHAM THORPE SEP. 29 1758" encasing a wood fragment (presumably from the H.M.S. Victory)
Unusual in that it does not seem to be one of the mass produced pieces with copper or wood from the H.M.S. Victory restoration project and that it honours Nelson himself as opposed to the ship.
