This piece is rated as RR in Paul & Bente Withers book, British Copper Tokens 1811 - 1820. John Knapp Juniour was a glover, and the dies for this piece were made by Halliday. A beautifully preserved token with traces of lustre, rare in a series of normally heavily utilised tokens.
